Chad is Back to Work!

Chad got called back to work Yeah! I am excited that he is back to work BUT they keep changing the "plans" The first time he was supposed to leave on the 10th which was a Monday and then be back by Friday or Saturday. Well that Thursday he called and said that they want him to stay another 5 days. Then they call him again saying that they might have him come home last night and then turn around and leave to go to Vegas for a job, he is in Telluride, CO now, Now they are saying that he is going to stay there until Thursday and Brad the guy he is working with is going to take him to Greenriver where another worker Josh will pick him up and go to Aspen until next Wednesday the day before Thanksgiving. I am so GLAD that he is back to work but I can not stand all this undecifulness with the company IT is driving me crazy along will all 5 of my kids who I love dearly but I have been home alone with them for 8 days now and I am going crazy!!!! When he come home I am going to need a Vacation! Any takers. LOL! It will have to be a quick one because the Monday after Thanksgiving he is going to Boston MA for a job for 10+ days. We never really know. Also, from the sounds of things they are starting to get extremely busy which is really good since when they called him back from being laid off they only could guarantee him 2 weeks. So we now know that it will go until at least the first part of December and HOPEFULLY longer, Yay. I was so scared that he was going to get laid off again and with buying our new house it has been very stressful as well. I am glad that I don't have to go back to work though Whew that was close LOL. It was a good thing we didn't have a house payment for more than a month so that helped and Paying our TITHING! I am glad that we never gave up on that and I know because of that our Heavenly Father is grateful. Everyone just pray that I don't go too CRAZY!!

Happy Birthday Dakota!

Dakota turns 8 today! We celebrated his birthday on Saturday with his cousins by going bowling. They had a lot of fun, maybe to much fun, they were always getting excited and jumping into other peoples lanes. On Sunday we had Chads family over for a nice birthday dinner of his choice which was Broccoli Rice Chicken Casserole. I really dont know what the "real" name of it is but that is what we call it since that is everything that is in it! He is so excited to be baptized! I am so proud of the Little Man he is becoming.

Halloween 2008

Here is Shelby as the BAT PRINCESS! Chad made her hair look like that. At first she was really mad and thought all her friends were going to laugh at her. I told her she looked Awesome. Turns out Mom was right... All her friends loved her costume. Even as we were trick or treating some guy told her that she had one of the best costumes he has seen. Here is Dakota as the NINJA, every year he has to be a ninja. I told the kids that next year I am picking out the costumes.... What ever happened to Scary costumes for Halloween? Savanah as the Midevil Princess... My sister made this costume. I had her hair curled really cute but after about 10 minutes it was pretty much flat again.

Dallas is our Little Pirate... He was so Stinking cute! This is also his 3rd year being a Pirate. He really likes them I guess.

Samantha- What a cute Raggedy Ann she was. Every where we went we heard people saying "oh how cute" I have to admit she was! She loved wearing the wig too it was amazing. She would never really leave anything on her head before. This costume my sister made as well for her daughter last year so we just borrowed it. It's nice to have a "gifted" person in the family. Next year we will borrow her Glenda the Good Witch and Dorothy costume she made for her kids this year. What will she think of next?

My funny Kids

I don't know what made them think to do this but one day we were just sitting down in my dads basement and they decided to dance... The funny thing is is that they knew where to put their hands when dancing with a partner. They are so cute, I need to just tie my camera around my neck so that when they do funny things I have the camera right where I need it.

UGH!

So I thought that everything was going just dandy when last Friday we were laying sod for our new house. I was so excited to have it so I didn't have to deal with the dirt any longer, 2 weeks was more than enough time. LOL Well while we were laying it Chad got a phone call from his boss. It can't be good when it's your day off and it went kinda like this... " we are slow right now and I hate to loose you your a excellent worker etc. but I need to lay you off for a couple of weeks"... We JUST bought our house 2 weeks prior to this! Did not see it coming since Chad is like a Lead person.... I am so Stressed right now! I made him go talk to him today and he told him that "Yes he will be calling him back but its just probably going to be a couple weeks until then" UGH!!!! SO I went and got a job today, I haven't worked for over 2 years now I don't know how to do it anymore LOL It's a temp job for only 2-3 weeks so hopefully by the time it is over he will have his job back because I don't know how I am going to handle working from 7 pm to 7 am 5 nights a week and get the kids ready for school. I will be packaging cds for $8 a hour plus overtime. I hope it will help but it's not the money we are used to. I hope it covers our house payment at least! Oh yeah and it was right after my birthday so all the money I got to buy clothes with is going to bills now. Not exactly what I wanted to do with my birthday money.

Dallas Turns 5

I told you that there was going to be another birthday, but I am late posting it because we have been moving into our new home :) I can't believe Dallas is 5 he is my little man. Mamas Boy for sure which is ok, he is my baby boy.... Dallas just started Preschool this year which I am glad for because he really needs it. I knew something wasn't quite right when he talks sometimes you can't for the life of you tell what he is saying, so after working hard to get him into some type of Preschool I took him to a "testing"and it showed that he is in the 3 - 3 1/2 year old range, which they call a "developmental delay. When I had Dallas his umbilical cord was so skinny it looked like a telephone cord, and that's actually what the doctors call it, so I think that has something to do with it. I am so GRATEFUL that it is just that and nothing worse and with a little extra help he with be fine. Now he gets to go to Preschool and he totally loves it! He gets to ride the bus and also each lunch at school. There are only 9 kids total in the class so there is a lot of 1 on 1 time with each of the kids. Dallas can just play with himself and be totally content. He loves to DRAW and likes to carry a backpack full of toys with him. I love my little man so much!

Samantha Turns 2

Yep another B-Day, just wait one more in 5 days for Dallas :)

Samantha turned two and was very Funny I sang to her in the morning after she woke up and she acted as if she was embarrased, I guess I would be too hearing my voice. This year, unlike the last, she ripped those presents open with no problem. She is such a Sweet Heart. She is always saying Thank You, and always wanting to help put laundry away, now if she could only fold. I can't believe that 2 years has gone by... They sure grow to fast. I am always saying "your so cute, can't you stay little forever" Well lets just hope those "terrible 2's" aren't too bad.

Shelby Turns 11!!

Shelby had a birthday on Friday... I can't believe she is 11, almost old enough to babysit.... She LOVES to read so we bought her a gift card to a book store and we are giving her a bookcase for her bedroom when we move in (on Friday). She was so EXCITED she wanted us to take her that minute to go get a book. The next day, Saturday, I took her and her two cousins Morgan and Cassidy to the Skating Rink... She had a BLAST! I am so proud of who she is becoming... She loves to help with the kids and she does very well in School.... I think she is weird because she LOVES school, I guess I better start saving now for all those years of college LOL. Happy Birthday Shelby I LOVEYOU!

WE ARE BUYING A HOUSE!!!!

In 8 days (it is going slow) we are going to sign on our NEW HOUSE! We are so Excited it will be our first "real" house, I am not counting the condo, though we loved it, there is nothing better than a house with a front and back yard. Bettter yet, Everything has been finalized on the bank side of it. Our lender says that all the docs are ready so we could close tomorrow if we wanted. I wish it was done so we could close! Basically I have 8 days worry free. Now if I could only sleep.
