My little brother Aaron took me horse riding last night. One of the ladies that has her horses next to Aarons let me use one of hers. She was telling me how mellow he was etc. and that if Chiz (Aarons horse) got to far ahead he (Giddeon) might run to catch up. OK!?!? I have rode horses before and he was a "mellow" horse. As we were riding the were a couple of times that Giddeon ran to catch up to Chiz and it scared me because I have NEVER gone that fast on a horse. I can't even begin to tell you how scary it was. On the way back, Aaron and Chiz were up ahead of us because Giddeon is a "mellow, slow horse". I guess they were too far ahead and so he took out like jet and I was no way prepared to go that fast, so I wasn't holding on to the saddle horn. Because we were going so fast my body was like leaning backwards, then Giddeon decided to stop to a DEAD STOP. So me not being prepared I lunged forward, knowing I was going to fall (fly) off so I tried to hold on to his neck. It slowed down my fall but the saddle horn was right there to hurt me. I fell to the ground, not hard, thank goodness, and just sat there and cried because my leg hurt so bad. Plus my brother was freaked out and yelled at me ( I know he didn't mean too ) but that upset me even more. I still Love you AARON!
I have NEVER been so scared in my life. Aaron was for sure I was going to be trampled but I wasn't. I thought the same thing. I got right back on the horse and Aaron asked "Want to go around again or go back" "I think we should go back" DUH LOL.
My leg has been hurting so bad, but it's not a pain but a major burning sensation. And I know from experience that the burn is because the bruises I have are just getting darker and darker.
Maybe one day I will go horse riding again.........
I've realized that the part of my leg that is hurting isn't where the bruises are but in between them. When I go to stand it hurts, when I walk it hurts and when I sit it hurts. It just hurts. Even the slightest touch to it hurts. :(
The bruises don't hurt much but the spot that isn't bruised in between the 2 at the bottom of the picture hurts.
