Vehar Family

There has been this family that has been here with us with their son. He also had a fall (from a skateboard). They are taking him off life support right now. His injury was so bad that there was nothing they could do for him. I went over to his Dad and talked to him and told him that we were sorry. He said that he couldn't understand why it was his son that had to pass. So we decided to give them a Book of Mormon with our Testimony in it. They loved it and cried with us. I will have to tell more of the story later cause it is really neat but my brain is too tired right now to think. I am grateful that I had the chance to do that!

My Sister Christy

These past few days have been some of the hardest days of my families lives. I have thought some other "petty" stuff has been the hardest of my life but have come to realize that that is all it really is "petty stuff". Don't take things for granted cause one day a simple fall can change the rest of your life.
Saturday my sister Christy fell down her steep, hardwood, slick stairs and fractured her skull. Her husband, Dustin found her after returning home from the store. She wasn't acting "right" so he called his brother that just graduated as an MD and he told him that whether it was shock or a brain trauma, she needed to be checked out. He did know thought that she would require stitches to the back of her head. He took her to American Fork Hospital where they did a CT scan which showed a bruise on the brain. They told us that they didn't have a neurosurgeon there that would be able to take care of her injuries so they transported her by ambulance with lights and sirens to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center where they did another CT scan that showed that her blood on the brain (bruise) was worse than before so they needed to do surgery on her. 3 hours later they finished the surgery and did another CT scan that showed another spot that had blood on it that needed to be removed so back into surgery she went. 2 hours later that surgery was finished and another CT scan was done again. For the third time there was another spot that showed up and so back into the OR again. 2 more hours and finally no more "worry some" spots. She was taken up to ICU where we were able to, two at a time, see her. Her face was so swollen we could hardly recognize her, plus all the tubes etc. that was attached to her. (breathing tube, 3 drains from the surgery site, feeding tube) Plus others I am not sure what they are for. Her eyes aren't dilated which is a good sign and she is following commands most of the time. She isn't out of the woods yet but there are a lot of people that are praying for her and she is a strong person. We probably won't know what lasting effects this will cause, if any, but we will be there to support her, Dustin, and Ryker where ever they need us. We know that whatever is meant to be will be the right thing even if it is not the answer we are wanting.
I am thankful to know of our Heavenly Father and Jesus has a plan for us and he loves us and Christy. I am also Thankful to know that Families are Forever and that is the Greatest gift ever!
We love you Christy! Keep up your fight.

Remember When August 14th 2008

This is another one I found
Thursday, August 14, 2008 I Remember When.... I lay in bed tonight not being able to sleep. For some reason I am thinking of all the things I remember throughout my life so far and thought that I should write them down... They aren't necesarily in order but it's what I remember.
I Remember When... I remember when... I was around 6 years old I had to go to the bathroom and I was in my swimsuit so I just sat on the curb and peed in the gutter. My friends brother rode past on his bike saying "I saw that". LOL
I remember when.... I was mean to the next door neighbor because she was so mean to me. ( I won't say what I did, just know it was pretty bad) Sorry!
I remember when... These same kids kept taking my sunglasses away from me so I went crying to my dad. He told me to tell them " If you do it again my dads going to kick your butt to the moon." I really thought he could.
I remember when... I cracked my head open when I fell off a trailer and then I ran into a tree because I couldn't see where I was going with all the blood running down my face.
I remember when... I saw a little boy playing in his dads truck and put it into gear, as it rolled back he fell out and went under the tire and got run over. My friend and I called the police.
I remember when... On the first day of kindergarten I got the flu and couldn't go to school so I didn't get my box of crayons. I was so sad.
I remember when... The people upstairs in our apartment was supposed to be babysitting us, left us alone because they "FORGOT" that we were there. Yeah Right.
I remember when... I went boating with my friends family and we were swimming. I couldn't swim back to the boat so my friends brother had to come rescue me.
I remember when... I went 4-wheeling on ice and it tipped over onto my leg.
I remember when... My mean Aunt was babysitting while mom was in the hopsital having a baby. I threw up all over her carpet. I told her I didn't feel very good and not make me eat the macaroni & cheese with hotdogs...YUCK!
I remember when... We were at my Aunts sitting in dads truck waiting for mom someone put the truck in gear and we rolled down a hill next to a pasture. I thought the horses were going to eat me.
I remember when... I had a birthday party and everyone was SO MEAN to me. I won't say names, they know who they are. I still wonder if they even still like me.
I remember when... I wore one of Teresas shirts, she was so mad that she pushed me down the stairs. I still love her though.
I remember when... Going to work with my dad watching him do CPR on a kid that was almost dead, when he came to he threw up all over my dad. When we went back to the "office" I saw his "missing person" poster on the wall of missing kids.
I remember when... Dad told me I needed to give my blanket to the cat because she was cold, so I did. What a LIAR! LoL (no wonder my kids love blankets)
I remember when... The day I told my "best friends" I was pregnant. They pretty much stopped talking to me. They were "TO GOOD" for me. What "best friends" they turned out to be. Same "friends" that were supposed to come to my house for a get together but they ditched me instead. I waited and waited then finally called one of their houses and the mom said that they went up to temple square. I guess I am not good enough to go with them since I got pregnant?????
I remember when... I was riding my bike at my cousins school flying through the air because I went over steps.
I remember when... I got left at my cousin Saras house. I watched as my family drove by.
I remember when... It was the 4th of July at Aunt Judys house and doing fireworks. One almost hit my Uncle... going to school the next day I had to write a book about something and I wrote how he had almost got hit by a firework and could have died. When I got home from school, my parents had told me he had got killed. I couldn't believe it. He was such a good person. I still have that "book".
I remember when... I went to visit grandma because she had been sick and a couple days later she had passed away... I sure do miss her.
I remember when... Going to visit grandma and grandpa, her telling dad that she "will give us a sandwich if she wants to and he can't stop her"
I remember when... We would go visit grandpa he would be sitting at the kitchen table with his bowl full of cucumbers and vinegar. YUM
I remember when... Grandpa would come over and play his guitar and sing to us. I miss him so bad, it doesn't feel like 4 1/2 years. I wish we could have been "closer" than we were. Also that I wouldn't have waited until the last day of his life to visit him in the hospital. I should have visited him way more often. I miss his singing!
I remember when... I had just got my lisence, going to my friends house, getting a flat tire and crying because I thought my dad was going to kill me, but instead he just said "It's just a flat tire"
I remember when... Dakota got his head stuck in the rail to the stairs because his head is so BIG! I thought I was going to have to call the fire department. I just pushed him the rest of the way through. Luckily he is skin and bones. LoL
I remember when... Samantha was turning blue because she was choking on a marble or a bead, being so scared. Not remembering the heimlich on my own child even though I have been trained.
I remember when... I was pregnant Dakota got behind the wheel of the van, even though it wasn't running or the keys weren't in it, him being able to put it in neutral, me chasing it as it rolled down my inlaws driveway.
I remember when... I was having a really bad day and my dad being able to talk to me making things all better.

Silly Samantha - July 11th 2007

This is from a entry I did that I found... I wanted to make sure I kept it! Wednesday, July 11, 2007 Silly Samantha Well we went to the grocery store today. I put Sammy in the cart and we began our weekly shopping. Those of you who know Samantha know that she can not hold her feet still its like she is nervous or something, anyways while we were shopping every once in a while she would cry like something was wrong and for the life of me I could not figure out why so I pretty much just ignored it. Well as we were at the checkout I had Shelby push the cart over by the Service Counter and she cried again and when I looked at her I noticed that her foot was STUCK between the bars and could not get it out. Chad went over to see if he could get it out but could not. Then all the people at the service desk were freakin out and called the Manager to "the front of the store ASAP" I finished paying for my groceries and went to see if I could help. Her foot would not budge. I then thought "great they're going to have to call the Fire Dept. to get it out" But I had one more trick up my sleeve (not really a trick) but I grabbed the two bars that her foot was between and pulled away from her foot. Thankfully even though they didnt move too much, it was enough to get her tiny foot out. Come to find out she did this exact same thing to my mom the other day but it didnt get stuck as bad as it did today. I hope this is the last time she tries this as a way to get attention LOL! What a little stinker. She was all smiles after! :)
Stregth of a Mother :)

Kids Hair Styles

I found this AWESOME website that shows you how to do different designs on kids' hair. I was so Excited! I haven't been very good at doing my kids hair in cute ways but now I have learned a thing or two. Here are some pictures of some that I have done.
This is Shelby's friend Skyllar. She asked me if I would do her hair too after I had done all the other kids. Her hair is PERFECT for doing.
This is Savanah's friend Raia. She said "I wish my mom could do my hair like that" so I offered to do her hair too. I think it turned out CUTE!
Savanah
Samantha. I LOVE this too!
Savanah again.

OLD TO NEW!

Chad's job has some benefits. Like this little Charmer....
It is really nice the way it looks but I wanted to spruce it up a little so I had
Chad get to work.
This is what we came up with......
I absolutely LOVE IT!
On the top of the Entertainment Center is a Candle type thing that is also one of his finds. I just need to add something to it I just don't know what to add.....
YET!
My whole house needs some Sprucing Up. I can't wait to do it!
The BEST part of this is
IT WAS ALL FREE!
Who doesn't like free?

Don't even know what to call it!

This past week has been one crazy week! Actually the whole month for me is one I don't ever want to re-live. I have been physically, mentally and emotionally drained of all the things that has been happening....
Last month we had a gas leak in our front yard that we would never had known about if it wasn't for Questar's routine checks. We got evacuated from the house for 8+ hours, plus the neighbors on each side of me. They fixed the leak which happened to be caused by the sub contractor "forgot" to put in a "o-ring" in the pipe. Come to find out this leak has been leaking for as long as we have been living here which is almost 2 years. I am beyond shocked that NOTHING serious happened. We lit off fireworks in our yard, we planted a tree right next to the spot that was leaking 2 months prior and were using a Pick Axe to break up the ground, hitting rocks, making sparks in the process. How nothing happened I will never know.
JULY 29th 2010
My grass and my brand new tree continued to die, beyond die, my grass was "balding" in spots. So I called Questar again because I was nervous that it may still be leaking. They came out and we got evacuated AGAIN! This time it was because there were "gas pockets" left trying to escape still. They will eventually replace my tree and grass. Hopefully it won't take too long because I HATE how my front yard looks now.
This is not the only thing that happened this day, UNFORTUNATELY. Right before being able to come back into my home I hear sirens. I thought they were farther away than they really were. They were at the house right behind me. My neighbor called 911 because her 11 yr old daughter "passed out" and had blood coming out of her nose, ears and mouth. They rushed her by ambulance with lights and sirens while doing chest compressions on her. She didn't make it to the hospital. I can't even describe my feelings of pain, sorrow, and love for my neighbors. I went over there with her mom after the ambulance left. I can't even imagine how the mother was feeling. She was crying uncontrollably and then she got a phone call back from her husband. Now she has to re-live it again to tell him what is happening. By this time they did not know that she had passed.
I feel truly blessed that I was able to tuck my kids in that night and give them a kiss. I didn't know this girl that well and I regret it very much and it reminds me that I may know a LOT of my neighbors but I need to do a better job of getting to know them. A lot of my neighbors around here say that I know everyone, but I don't know them like I would like to. I definitely i am going to do a better job of getting to know everyone because I don't ever want this feeling EVER again!
Unfortunately that is not the last thing that happened... Earlier in the morning I remember seeing the Animal control Officer and an Ambulance but neither of them had lights nor sirens on so I didn't think anything of it. Come to find out when we were all over with the little girl that a family in our ward went in to wake their mom up and found her not breathing. She was put on life support but only lived a couple days. Her funeral is this Friday that I am planning on attending. I feel so sad for the family. She was a "young" mother at 50, too young to die in my opinion.
So like I said I am full of emotions this past little while and I pray every day that things will turn around for our neighborhood. I know I for one could use some good things to happen. We have had a lot of babies born though, but with our ward if we go without a birth in a week it is shocking. LOL
I am thankful for my family, my home, and all that I have. It may not be much but I have what I love the Most and that is FAMILY!

This and That

I haven't posted anything for a LONG time so I thought I should update what all that has been happening. Except for that I am on the laptop and I have none of our pictures on here so I can't show off anything. So if your lucky I will post again soon and show off some pictures ;)
School is out! I think I am surviving but I have those days that I just want to run away or that school would be back in. But mostly we have been having lots of fun. We went to Salem ponds on Free fishing day but we had NO luck. I think the fish were sick of eating by the time we got there. We also went there a few weeks before with my sister and her girls and my little brother for a picnic and we let the kids play in the water. They absolutely loved it. I think Samantha may actually like to go swimming this year and not have to have me hold her the whole entire time.
Dallas and Savanah are going to a Summer Reading Recovery Program. They love it and I am glad that they do it because they can really use the help. Dallas has a Developmental Delay so he has been in resource and I am hoping he can catch up to the rest of the kids his age soon. Savanah I just think doesn't like to read and I struggle at home with her so I am hoping that she will do better for someone besides me and I really get frustrated easily so it probably will be the best for the both of us.
On Wednesday June 16th there was a Questar gas guy going around and doing "routine" gas leak checks. I know this cause I was out mowing the lawn when he came so he explained to me what he was doing in my yard. He got a "hit" on his sensor that there was a gas leak in my front yard. He told me that he found the leak and that when he is done with the rest of the block he would be back to test it again. He came back with another device that has a tube that you put in the ground which probably gives a better reading. Then he told me he had to make sure there wasn't any 10 feet from the house. He did the test and moved closer to my house, right next to my flower bed in front of the porch. I knew the minute he went closer to the house something was wrong. He looked at me and said "unfortunately I am getting readings right next to your house so I am going to have to have you evacuate your house" Seriously can anything else go wrong I was thinking. He also told me that he had to evacuate my next door neighbors on both sides of me. I proceeded to pack some things for the kids for overnight (JUST IN CASE), Savanah was freaking out because she was scared I had to keep telling her that we would be ok but she just didn't understand why we had to leave our house but everything would be ok. Plus she was worried about gunner, our dog. So I ended up taking him with us. He is a really good dog though so it was fun. I went and sat at my parents house FOREVER! This happened at 11 am. I came down around 530 or so cause they had to do a walk through in our house and test it. They said that when the contractors did the pipes they failed to put in a "o ring" where it was supposed to go. So basically it has probably been leaking for 2 years + cause we have been here for 2 years almost in September. They brought their big "vacuum" to suck out all the fumes from the gas after they fixed the pipe. The first guy at the beginning said it will only take 2-3 hours and when I came back the other guy said it could take up to 3+ days just depending on if they can get it all out and when but our ground was really tight so he thought it would take at least another day that they might end up putting us up in a hotel. Eventually around 730 they gave us the ok to get back into our house. What a relief. However, my poor tree that I got just a few months ago is dying now :( It was very nice tree and I got it for a great deal. They said if it did die that they would replace it but I really don't want to have to. I went to the nursery where we purchased it and showed them pictures of what it was doing and they said that it was because of the gas but to give it a couple weeks and it might come out of it. I guess I should be happy that it's just a tree because it could have been tons worse. I am grateful that it wasn't! I felt bad for my neighbor, they had high levels under their driveway so they were gone just as long as us but she is 8 months pregnant with 2 little girls and they don't have any family close so they just went shopping etc. I probably would have went crazy so I am grateful that I have family close enough that I could go there. Hopefully nothing else happens *knock on wood*
The next day I had to take Chad to the ER cause he was having a really hard time breathing. Ends up that it was because of his allergies and he had to go mow a lawn that it was almost as tall as him. So it aggravated his lungs which made him have a really bad reaction. He is now on a inhaler and Zyrtec which is helping tons, which is good since his job right now is to mow lawns since it's the summer. He works for a bank that he goes into foreclosed homes and secures, winterize, clean, mow lawns, etc. Basically whatever they want him to do. Thankfully it has been keeping him busy.
I think that is all I can do for now I am getting tired! Hopefully it won't be too long before my next post.

My Funny Sammy

Sammy makes me LAUGH almost every day! The other day she asked me to cut her some swiss cheese and as I was getting the knife out she told me "don't cut you" I said that I wouldn't and proceeded to cut the cheese (no not that kind) when I was done she said "did you cut you" and I said "no I didn't cut me" and she looked at me with a grinn and said "good job"
Today as I was working on some stuff for Chads work so we can keep track of things that we can use as a tax right off she sat a cup next to me. I never thought anything of it but I guess I wasn't paying to much attention, next thing I know is that she is hauling up the stairs a gallon of milk that was at least 3/4 of the way full and she is only 3 1/2 years old! She brings it to me and asks me to get her some chocolate milk. I didn't see the chocolate mix but sure enough it was sitting right there. What a little stinker, instead of just asking me in the first place for some she just took it upon herself to bring me the stuff I needed to make her some.
I am so glad she is part of our family because she definately knows how to put a smile on my face, and I would have to say that she has been the easiest child for me! I am blessed to have such a good one for my last, kinda makes me want another one....... NOT!
Love you Samantha for making my days go smoother most days! Don't get me wrong I love all my kids but she is just a character!

Harward Happenings

Well it has been a while since my last post and there has been a few things that has happened... I would first like to start with..... YAY school is back in SESSION! I love my kids to death but I am glad that school has begun. Here is a few pictures of their first day back. They are just as excited as I was!
Shelby with her new doo! It was a lot shorter than we wanted but we made it work!

Dakota CAN NOT smile without closing his eyes!

Savanah- I don't know why she had to have her hand like that

They tried really hard not to smile, except for Dakota, but his eyes are once again CLOSED!

Dallas and Samantha had to get in on the action... Dallas will be starting Kindergarten in 2 days and he is WAY EXCITED!!!!

The other thing I would like to Share is... My Friend/Neighbor came over a couple weeks ago and I don't remember exactly what happened but I remember me and my friend teasing Savanah about having to go live with my friend, also my friend LOVES Savanah, she is so well behaved for her, of course... Well, she wanted to and this is what we found her doing.....

Yep, she packed her bags and got a TON of shirts out of the closet, she was ready to move... I asked her why she wanted to live with my friend and she said "because sometimes you are mean to me" :( Why do we have to be such mean moms?

Last but not least, I have had to go back to work with todays economy and since my husbands job is one of the worst things to have in an economy like this I have started not 1 but 2 jobs... It is hard to be gone ALL the time but we really need me to do this right now. Hopefully, it won't be for forever!

Sunday Talk!

So Chad and I were asked to speak today! I really do not like it I get way too nervous, I felt like I was going to pee my pants LOL... Anyways I wanted to post it so others could "enjoy"! So here you go..... Oh the first part about my family wasn't exactly what I said. I changed it up a bit but you get the Jiffs of it :) Faith in Every Footstep First I would like to tell you a little about our family… Chad and I met during the typical ‘come to my rescue scenario' after I had got a flat tire in front of his house. Later my friend and I took him some donuts for payment for his help, he told me that he didn’t like donuts but I now know that he does. My friend then proceeded to ask him what he was doing that coming Friday and if he wanted to take me to a dance that was going on at our High School, he said yes and she told him “by the way you have to pay”. From then on out we saw each other everyday. I did however know the minute I saw him that I was going to marry him. We were married in March of 97 and now have 5 beautiful kids. Shelby is our oldest she is 11, Dakota is 8, Savanah 7, Dallas is almost 6 and Samantha, the baby, is almost 3. We moved here last September and absolutely love it. We have an Amazing ward and the best neighbors which make it even better. We believe that we were meant to be here with such amazing people around us because it was something that we needed at that time in our lives. The topic Brother Peine gave us was Faith in Every Footstep and with the holiday it makes me think of the Pioneers and how much Faith they must have had to walk many miles for months to follow the prophet and go where the Lord wanted them too. As they walked they had many trials to overcome including sickness, famine and even death. But because of their Great Faith in the Lord they continued their Journey. They knew what they were doing was the right thing even with all those trials they had. Elder M. Russell Ballard said:We are the inheritors of a tremendous heritage. Now it is our privilege and responsibility to be part of the Restoration's continuing drama and there are great and heroic stories of faith to be written in our day. It will require every bit of our strength, wisdom and energy to overcome the obstacles that will confront us. But even that will not be enough. We will learn as did our pioneer ancestors that it is only in faith, real faith, whole souled, tested and tried that we will find safety and confidence as we walk our own perilous pathways through life.” To me this means we are going to have our own share of trials throughout our lifetime and some we have had already but unless we go through our trial with “real faith” then we will not be able to overcome them. We cannot learn without these trials we have in life, we may not like them but they are there to help us. We are here to be tested and without these trials we can not be here and learn so we can live with our Father in Heaven. Chad and I have had our own trials throughout the years and we continue to have trials today. We have been struggling with our jobs, we may not like it but unless we have Faith in Heavenly Father that he knows the reasoning behind it we will not overcome them. Our trial may actually help us in the end because it is giving Chad a reason to go back to school and to pursue a career that he has always wanted to do but hasn’t had a reason to do it. Faith means to hope for things which aren’t seen but are true and to have faith is to have confidence in something or someone. We need to have confidence in our Heavenly Father that our trial is going to be for the better and not for the worse which at times it may seem. We need to hope that when our trial is over it will benefit us for the better and make us stronger in our faith. I would now like to share an experience with you that my little sister had to go through. A couple years ago my sister got pregnant as an unmarried teenager. She was upset, depressed and very much afraid. She also was confused because she wasn’t sure if she should keep the baby or place her for adoption. In the beginning she really wanted to keep her because she was scared of all the emotions she would have to go through by placing her for adoption. So she decided to keep the baby. As the months went by she struggled with feelings on how she was going to provide for the baby and give her everything she would need when my sister was struggling financially already. One day she was home with just my dad and she was having a really hard time with everything. She was really confused she wanted the best for her baby but she didn’t know how she was going to do it. My dad sat her down and according to her had a very spiritual talk. I don’t know what they talked about but I know it was something she needed to hear at that time in her life. After her talk with my dad she went into her room and got on her knees and prayed to Heavenly Father to help her know what she was supposed to do. She said she knew immediately what she was supposed to do and decided that the best thing would to place her baby for adoption. She went to LDS Family Services and began the process of choosing a family. During that time she prayed about a family that she had found and knew it was the family she would place her baby with. As the months went by she went through many tears, prayers and had extreme Faith in our Heavenly Father that what she was doing was the right thing. Her placement was the most emotional and hardest thing she has ever gone through. She then saw the family with her child and saw how much joy and happiness that it brought into their lives and the wonderful life her baby was able to live. It was then that she finally understood that this is the family that her baby was supposed to be with and those feelings she was having eventually were replaced with feelings of joy, happiness, peace and comfort. President Faust said “If you take each challenge one step at a time, with faith in every footstep, your strength and understanding will increase. You cannot foresee all of the turns and twists ahead. My counsel to you is to follow the direction of the Savior of the world: “Be not afraid, only believe.” My sister was dealt with many challenges during her trial but she had Faith and continued her journey, soon afterwards was able to find someone she could marry in the temple and I have seen her life change in many ways for the better because of it. We may be scared and confused as my sister was but we need to have Faith in Heavenly Father and believe that things will be for the better then we can grow too. President Faust also said “as we live on earth we must walk in faith, nothing doubting. We have much reason to hope. Joy can be ours if we are willing to sacrifice all for the Lord. Then we can look forward to the priceless possibility of overcoming all the challenges of this life. Then we will be with the Savior forever.” I don’t know where I and Chad’s current trial will take us but if we have Faith and believe in our Heavenly Father we will learn and be able to overcome the challenges we are facing. I know it will be for the better eventually but we need to finish our trial to understand what it is Heavenly Father has in store for us. I want to leave you with one more quote by President Faust “If we believe and are faithful, we are promised all that the Father has. If we receive all that the Father has, there is nothing more for us to receive in this life or the life to come. We should remember that in our challenges and struggles against the powers of evil and darkness, “they that be with us are more than they that be with them.”

1280 West 4th of July Party

For the 4th this year me and my neighbor decided we should have a HUGE party and block off the road... We went to the Police department, filled out the necessary paperwork, and had every single person on the road sign the "permission". It ended up being really FUN!
Here are some of the Pictures we took!

Baseball with Dakota and Dallas

Dakota LOVES baseball, I think it's his favotite sport! He has been playing these last few weeks and Dallas has also been playing a baseball Smart Start program where it teaches them the basics of baseball. He really wanted to play soccer but they didn't have a program for his age group, next year he will be able to, so baseball was his next pick. He really likes it and likes the fact that his friend is also there with him, they are goofs! It is fun to watch my kids play sports but I have got to tell you that these last few months have been CRAZY! We had soccer Tuesdays to Fridays and now we have baseball on those same days. It is really hard at times because some days there is WAY TOO MUCH going on. I think I will be GLAD when it all has ended and we can do things without it revolving around the kids sports! Don't get me wrong I LOVE watching them play but enough is enough :) Here are a few pics of Dakota! I will post some of Dallas at a later date so be sure to check back!

WHOO HOO!

So my "BFF" came over today and helped me FIX my blog! I have been really frustrated because I am an Idiot and couldn't figure it out... SO be prepared for all the new post I will be Posting :)

YEE HAW! (from Janelle)

IT"S JUST A GAME!

Ok so from a previous post, but the same day, I mentioned how Savanah and Shelby have been playing soccer. I really didn't want to put Savanah in soccer because she is a girly girl, but she wanted too so I let her so it would be "fair". Well yesterday she didn't want to play at all. I wasn't there but that is the report from Dad, all I could think of is "I knew it" but I think next year we will see about something more girly.

Shelby on the other hand, she loves ALL SPORTS, especially soccer. Well tonight we had a game and I am very frustrated with the other teams coach... I couldn't believe how he was acting in front of his team and everyone for that matter. He got mad at a call that yeah it may have been a bad call but get over it we aren't here to win money we are here to have fun. He just kept at it and at it, yelling at the Ref's who are in High School, swearing at everyone. Also, his team kept shoving our team and the Ref's would call it and he would ask why so they would explain to him but then he would say "they aren't doing anything wrong" Well when you purposely shove someone over IT IS WRONG, not only is it wrong but he was incouraging it. I was seriously worried that he was going to do something, I had my camera ready just in case, for proof of course. At one point he was behind me yelling at the Ref's and I had both Sammy and Dallas with me and he swore. I said "Watch it there are kids around". It is sad that some people take these recreational games SO seriously. He really should have just been a good example for his team. I am glad that we don't have to play against them again, we don't need the negativity. Well that is all I have to say about that... OH yeah but WE WON!!!

Easter 2009

This year for Easter we went to my sister Andrea's house. We had a lot of fun with pin the tail on the bunny, it was funny to watch us adults do it and it was really hard. I forgot how dizzy you get when you get spinned around. We, the adults, played a game where we had 2 balloons tied to each of our ankles and we ran around trying to pop everyone elses balloons the problem is that when you are running your balloon likes to go under your feet and so you pop your own balloon. We also had a yummy BBQ. The kids colored eggs and it was a MESS. The last thing we did was play pictionary, it is funny to try to figure out what the heck people are drawing. Here are some Easter Pics....

Soccer

Shelby and Savanah started to play soccer this year and has had so much fun... Shelby is doing SO GOOD! She loves soccer or any sports for that matter. They have been playing for a couple of weeks now. It is really funny to watch Savanah play soccer, she is in the 1st grade, and it can be hilarious at times. I was taking pictures of her and she saw me and being Savanah she had to stop what she was doing and pose. She loves the camera and the camera loves her. Here are a few pictures of their first games. I don't have any of Shelby yet I will get them on as soon as I get some, but here are some of Nana she is silly!

Some more kids pictures!

I took some pictures of my cute kids a while back, maybe 3 weeks ago, after I just finished getting them ready to go to the Draper Temple Open House.

So in this Shelby our oldest, 11, she is total tomboy she LOVES to play sports.

Dakota, 8, loves to play video games whether it is on the computer or on the PS2

Savanah, 6, she is the "princess" or so she thinks. I bet she would hire a servant if she could so she wouldn't have to do anything. Also, if you can't tell by the pictures she LOVES to pose!

Dallas, 5, he is my little buddy, he is so polite and sweet! He could play by himself and be fine with it but then he could play with others and be so happy to be playing with them.

Samantha, 2, She IS my little princess LOL, she loves to sing all the time, which I love listening to her sing "we will rock you" and "twinkle little star".

These are my cute, cute kidlets.

I love this Picture... Sammy loves her brothers.

This is the "best" I could get :)

This is my FAVORITE picture! I hope they are always like this!

I have to explain why Shelby is "so sad" in all the pictures though, just keep in mind that these are the "best" of what I took, after I explain you will understand. LOL After doing Shelby's hair she started to cry, not only cry but sobb so I asked her if she was mad at me for the way I did her hair, she said no so I asked her what is going on that she is just a crying and she said "I don't know what is wrong, I am just crying" Well you know Shelby will be 12 in September and I believe we may be going through puberty at my house AHHH! I feel so old now, I am too young to have a 12 year old right?

I love my kids to death. They are my TREASURES!
